Pre-Incident Planning
Every fire department and industry employer understands that pre-incident planning helps identify potential hazards and help to prevent potential problems during an emergency response. A well-prepared department provides for a more efficient response. This is where First In Response Enterprises steps in to help. At F.I.R.E., we will work closely with your department to develop the necessary pre-incident planning your department needs.
F.I.R.E. offers pre-incident planning in both printed and electronic format. If your department wants your pre-incident plans printed out, we can format these pages to your satisfaction. If you prefer an electronic format, we can load your pre-incident plans on your computer into your desired software.
Our representatives will work closely with your department to design plans best suited to your needs. All of our pre-incident planning uses Computer Aided Design (CAD) Drawing. This provides a professional plan and is flexible enough to be updated in the future.
We are able to make your plans as detailed as you wish. Knowing the locations of utility shut-offs, hydrant locations and access points is crucial to the operation of any incident.
Pre-Incident Planning Forms are another way of planning that we offer to every client. Our Pre-Incident Forms have all pertinent information that each incident commander needs to have at their disposal. We can customize these forms to each client's needs.
Hydrant Mapping
Pre-Incident Plans are just one piece of the puzzle. In conjunction with these plans, hydrant mapping of your response area is critical. You need to know where the closest hydrants are for multiple apparatus response or a hydrant failure.
We will map out your district and locate all fire hydrants near the closest address to help you identify their positions.
