About First In Response Enterprises
F.I.R.E. offers services for first responders and those in general industry who strive to better themselves and their departments or businesses. F.I.R.E. helps first responders prepare through equipment sales, pre-incident planning, hydrant mapping, and training. F.I.R.E. also assists those in general industry in managing jobsites, training, and equipment sales.
First In Response Enterprises was formed in 2004 by firefighters and industrial safety personnel who strove to make an impact in the lives of fellow first responders and those operating in general industry. With the knowledge from years of experience and training in firefighting, law enforcement, and emergency medical services, our staff knows what it takes to prepare first responders for the challenges that await them.
With experience in general industry, our staff also knows that this important preparation does not start with first responders, but with those who work in general industry and whose actions will greatly impact the work of the responding emergency personnel, either onsite teams or local municipalities. That is why First In Response Enterprises focuses on the preparation of first responders and workers in general industry, as our training and incident mitigation are often intertwined.
F.I.R.E. has come a long ways since 2004, with new staff and a consistent reputation of meeting the demands of our clients, First In Response Enterprises has now placed a new emphasis on sales, adding another way F.I.R.E. helps to prepare first responders and industrial employees. At the request of our clients to help find an outlet that offered the equipment that they train on and use, carry necessary items needed by first responders and those in industry on a daily basis, and offering those products without the price gouging of other mainstream companies, First In Response Enterprises has moved their offices and opened their store and showroom at 4613 Military Rd. Niagara Falls, NY.

Staff
Jon Schultz, President & Chief Executive Officer, is a native to the Lewiston, New York area. He earned a B.S. from Niagara University and a M.S. in Architectural Engineering from the University of Buffalo. He joined the Upper Mountain Fire Company in 1993 and has served as a Lieutenant, Captain, and Assistant Chief for over 7 years. He currently holds the rank of Chief in the Upper Mountain Fire Co.
Jon received his Emergency Medical Technician License in 1993 which has driven him to excel in the Emergency Medical Field. A product of this drive is his current certification as a Critical Care Technician.
Jon understands the importance of knowledge at your fingertips and truly believes that this can only happen with training and resources. This is the main reason why he feels that First In Response Enterprises can aid the fire service with pre-incident plans that are created hand in hand with the individual fire departments to suit their unique needs.
David Bialas, Vice President & Chief Operating Officer, was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey and came to Western New York in the fall of 2002 to attend Niagara University. At Niagara, he graduated with a B.A. in Political Science and History, while minoring in Criminal Justice and Criminology. During his studies at Niagara he also recieved training in GIS - Geographic Information Systems. In 2008, he earned an A.O.S. Degree in Fire Science Technology from Corning Community College in cooperation with the New York State Fire Academy. David began his fire and EMS career with the Upper Mountain Fire Company in 2004. While at the Upper Mountain, he has served as Safety Officer, Engine Captain, Ladder Captain and President. He currently holds the rank of Ladder Captain and serves as the fire company President.
David earned his NYS DOH EMT-D license in 2005, and his NYS DOH AEMT-Intermediate license in 2009. In 2007, he earned his Healthcare Provider Instructor's certification from the American Heart Association. David also assists in the instruction of the NYS EMT-D program at Niagara University, and earned his NYS DOH Certified Lab Instructor certification in 2008.
David believes that it is vital for every first responder to be well prepared for any incident that he or she may face, and that first responder must be adequately equiped to mitigate those incidents. That is why he believes First In Response Enterprises can better prepare first responders with knowledge of incidents prior to responding and through training. He also knows that First In Response Enterprises will equip your personnel without the excessive overcharging of other companies because we as first responders should never put a price on our safety.
